Has made a name for herself in Pune’s culinary circuit for her dynamic personality and cooking skills. She hails from the north eastern state of Assam, which is one of the most diverse and culturally rich state of India.
Mrs. Baroowa commands a mastery over various cuisines and curates food menus that are inspiring and instantly loveable. She had curated and successfully executed a 10 day long Assamese Food Festival hosted by the Novotel Pune.
Mrs. Baroowa founded “millie’s Majuli” as a “Cloud Kitchen & Catering Services”.
Snippet - “Majuli” is the largest river island in the world located in the mighty Brahmaputra river and symbolises the cultural capital of Assam. The name Majuli is therefore adopted by Mrs. Baroowa for this venture, considering her roots in Assam, which embodies an amalgamation of a rich culture and beautiful heritage.
She was invited to participate in the Zomaland Food Festival & Pune Market by Karen Anand, at the Koregaon Park; Pune for showcasing her culinary skills. She was also invited to conduct workshops on North East Cuisines in various reputed institutions like The Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Institute Of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Maharashtra State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, etc.
